Mr. White has served on the Pflugerville City Council since November 2006. Mr. White settled in Pflugerville in 1993 with his wife Donna and their two sons. Mr. White has a BBA from Sam Houston State University in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Houston. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designations. Mr. White is an Academic Director with The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in Austin, TX. Prior to joining The National Alliance, Mr. White held various underwriting, marketing, and management positions with the Commercial Insurance Division of Aetna. Before leaving Aetna to return to Central Texas, Mr. White was the Commercial Insurance Division Branch Office Marketing Manager in Tulsa, OK. Locally, Mr. White serves on the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation Board, is past president of Pflugerville Pfamilies Pfirst and is a member of First Baptist Church. His focus while in office is on the implementation of Pro-Active Zoning, Economic Development along the TX IH 45/130 toll ways and FM 685 and FM 1825 roadways, reducing water rates, and property tax relief.
