DOWNTOWN PFLUGERVILLE
Located about fifteen miles north of the Colorado River on the eastern edge of the black land prairies, Pflugerville was founded in 1860 when William Bohls established a general store and post office in his residence, and named the town in honor of Henry Pfluger.
Since those early days of locally owned businesses and the thriving small business district along Pecan and Main Streets, Pflugerville's rapid growth has carried new businesses in all directions....but the heart and hub of community activities remains in Downtown Pflugerville!
