The Pflugerville Target held its ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 3 in the Stone Hill Town Center and is now open to the public!

Target Store Manager, David Aguirre and NewQuest Properties Partner, Dean Lane and Mayor Jeff Coleman spoke at the event."When you turn on the news these days, all you hear about is layoffs and businesses closing their doors," stated Coleman. "But when you come into Pflugerville, you're going to hear positive economic news - we're one of only a dozen communities opening over 600,000 square feet of new retail space this year in a very difficult economic environment."

The Pflugerville Best Buy (Store #1762) held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, February 27 at 9:30 a.m. in the Stone Hill Town Center and is now open to the public.

Speakers at the ceremony included Mayor Jeff Coleman, City Manager David Buesing, Economic Development Director Charles Simon, Greater Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce President Patricia Gervan-Brown, Greater Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce Chair Kandi Cook, Pflugerville I.S.D. representative Zenda Johnson and Best Buy General Manager, Marcus Jewett.

"In these challenging economic times where many retailers are laying off employees and closing doors, we are proud to be able to open a store that will no doubt stimulate the local economy, and also provide jobs to our growing area," stated Marcus Jewett, General Manager of the Pflugerville Best Buy. "We are excited to finally be able to care of your personal and professional technological needs."

Stone Hill Town Center is located at the intersection of State Highways 130 and 45. The center sits on 196 acres and 1,000,000 square feet of retail space is planned.
