The City of Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department provides a summer outdoor recreational program to serve school-aged children (6yrs-15yrs) by offering a challenging, physical and educational daily program to enhance self-esteem, independence and a sense of belonging in the surrounding Pflugerville community.
The mission of Summer Pfun Camp is built on the three core values:
1. Pfun Camp provides a supervised and positive environment in the outdoors where children can laugh and grow within a set of controlled boundaries.
2. Pfun Camp staff care about and are committed to the safe and successful development of all children.
3. Pfun Camp experiences are geared to provide opportunities to develop key life skills: responsibility, cooperation, courage and self esteem.
The program runs for 10 consecutive weeks throughout the summer. Participants can choose as many weeks as they would like to register their campers for.
Sign your kids up for the Summer Pfun Camp! The outdoor day camp for first graders through age 15. Campers bring a sack lunch, snacks, and beverages. Activities include a field trip once a week; swim four days a week, play sports, games, and come to the recreation center once or twice a week.
