Citizens On Patrol provides assistance to the Pflugerville Police Department by taking a part in the community with an active means to make a difference in their communities. Increased cooperation between citizens and the police officers adds to the ability to assist to the Police Department through additional observation and reporting.  

Here are just a few of the areas showing improvement due to involvement of the Citizens on Patrol.

· Increased enforcement of city codes affecting neighborhoods
· Increased public presence in the neighborhood acts as a means of deterring crime
· Increased awareness among citizens within a neighborhood
· Increased quality of life and safer environment for all neighborhood residence.
