Forestry
Mission Statement
The mission of the Forestry program is to utilize urban forestry best management practices to promote the quality of life for citizens of Pflugerville. The Forestry Division provides education and outreach to citizens, City staff, and the development community. The Forestry Division is responsible for implementing, administering, and overseeing public tree plantings, the Public Tree Care ordinance, and relevant processes of tree preservation and landscaping throughout the development process.
The cultivation of trees is the cultivation of the good, the beautiful, and the ennobling in man.
