The mission of the Forestry program is to utilize urban forestry best management practices to promote the quality of life for citizens of Pflugerville.  The Forestry Division provides education and outreach to citizens, City staff, and the development community.  The Forestry Division is responsible for implementing, administering, and overseeing public tree plantings, the Public Tree Care ordinance, and relevant processes of tree preservation and landscaping throughout the development process.

Citizen Forester Class

Do you love trees and love to volunteer?  Then we want you to become a Citizen Forester!  Spend the day learning from certified arborists and landscape professionals about planting, pruning, soil health, tree identification, how to lead small groups, and more!  Class size limited to 25 so register today at the TreeFolks website.
